According to Spanish newspaper El Periódico de Aragón, Celtic FC and Premier League side Swansea City are showing their interest in Borja Iglesias who plays as a striker for Celta de Vigo.

In recent days the player has been popping up in the Spanish media due to his outstanding performance for Real Zaragoza who play in the second tier of Spanish football. Currently, the 25-year-old forward is on a loan with Zaragoza and has 15 goals in 29 appearances for them.

On the other hand, Brentford FC who play in the Championship, the second tier of English football have also revealed their interest in the player. More or less after securing this year’s Scottish Premiership title, Brendan Rodgers has started thinking about the future, thus he wants Iglesias in his squad.

Rodgers is keeping an eye on some of the PSG stars like Leigh Griffiths and Odsonne Edouard and would like to get them on loan from PSG. Apart from these two, Rodgers will also go for Borja Iglesias and will like to have him on the team list so that his side remains unbeatable.

But as the recently crowned Scottish champions, it will be easy for Celtic FC to acquire Iglesias as The Swans are having a hard time in holding onto their Premier League status. And for Swansea, the signing of a new player totally depends on ending their season as a Premier League side.
