Former Borussia Dortmund manager Thomas Tuchel has turned down the opportunity to manage Bayern Munich as he looks all set to move to England during the summer.
Tuchel has been without a job since he was sacked from his position at BVB last May – just days after winning the German Cup and the Bavarians were hoping that the 44-year-old might replace Jupp Heynckes.
But it seems that Thomas Tuchel has made moving to the Premier League his top priority.
German outlet Bild are reporting that the former BVB manager is already in advanced talks with Arsenal in order to become their next manager once Arsene Wenger steps down from his chair at the end of the season.
Wenger has been under tremendous pressure this season and a lot of fans and pundits have been wanting him to leave the club. But the board have reportedly refrained from sacking their long-serving manager and in turn, have asked him to step down with dignity.
The French manager will leave at the end of the season and if Bild is to be believed then Thomas Tuchel will take on the reign.
The current Gunners squad has a lot of players who have experience of playing in the Bundesliga and some of them have are also familiar with Tuchel and his tactics having previously played for Borussia Dortmund.
