Monaco forward Thomas Lemar has been tipped to move out of France for a couple of transfer windows now but the Ligue 1 outfit has refused to let him leave every single time.

Last summer Lemar was on the verge of joining Arsenal but that move collapsed during the final few hours of deadline day.

Liverpool too had shown interest in the 22-year-old after Philippe Coutinho left for Barcelona during the January transfer window.

But none of these deals materialized and Lemar is still playing for Monaco – and his form has been dipping with each passing month.

Now the French International has claimed that he is still waiting for his next big move.

Lemar told Telefoot: “Regrets? Maybe. I was a little disappointed,

“Once it’s over, it’s over, so do not think about it.

“I will keep working hard so these clubs will eventually come back in the next transfer window. I am open to all offers. I am a football player, I like football. I do not close any door.”

Liverpool still hold substantial interest in Thomas Lemar as they still haven’t brought in a long-term replacement for Coutinho.

Arsenal though have bought in Pierre Emerick Aubameyang from Borussia Dortmund meaning that the interest for Lemar has died down as of now. But a few reports are claiming that the Gunners might offload summer signing Alexandre Lacazette in which case Thomas Lemar will most definitely be back on the radar for the London outfit.
