PSG manager Unai Emery is more or less certain to leave the club after having failed to deliver Champions League success and it seems that Ligue 1 outfit have already chosen their new manager.

According to a report by ESPN FC, former Borussia Dortmund manager Thomas Tuchel is set to take charge of PSG.

Tuchel has been without a job since he was sacked by BVB last summer but it seems that the PSG owner has chosen him as the next man-in-charge. ESPN claims that it was the Emir of Qatar himself, who owns the club, who decided Tuchel was the right man for the job.

PSG had also considered the likes of Antonio Conte, Massimiliano Allegri and Carlo Ancelotti for the manager’s job but the club’s owner feels that Tuchel will lead them to European success.

The report states that the official announcement will only be made at the end of the season and Tuchel will be in charge of the club when the players report back for preseason.

ESPN are a very credible source so this news will definitely come as a huge blow for the likes of Arsenal and Chelsea who were also chasing Thomas Tuchel.

A few weeks back some rumours claimed that Thomas Tuchel had rejected an offer to manage Bayern Munich next season because of his desires to move to England and join Arsenal.

Now though it seems that the Gunners will have to look at other possible options in order to replace Arsene Wenger at the end of the season.

Chelsea too are in the hunt for a new manager and multiple sources had claimed that Thomas Tuchel ranked pretty high on their wishlist.

PSG chairman Nasser al Khelaifi had reportedly also made contacts with current Chelsea manager Antonio Conte a couple of weeks back but it seems the French club are going with Thomas Tuchel.
