Watford striker Richarlison has been tipped to move out of the club during the summer transfer window and if reports are to be believed then the Hornets want £40 million for the Brazilian.

The 20-year-old joined Watford in the summer of 2017 from Fluminense for a fee of £11.2 million and was an instant success – scoring five goals and assisted five in his first 17 league matches in England.

But since then the goals have dried up for Richarlison and his form has also dipped considerably. So much so that the striker hasn’t scored in 22 games and his last goal came against West Ham in November.

But if reports are to believed then a series of top European clubs are still monitoring Richarlison’s situation at Watford and most of them are planning to make a but during the summer transfer window.

French clubs PSG and Monaco are said to be interested while back in England, Arsenal and Chelsea reportedly what the 20-year-old’s services.

A £40 million price tag is surely a hefty one for a place who has been out of form for most of the season but Watford have realised that the interest from clubs like Arsenal and Chelsea are pretty real.

And given the situation the London clubs are in right now, they will not hesitate to spend some big bucks during the summer transfer window.

Richarlison’s current contract with Watford expires in 2022 but at the start of the new year, the Watford Observer had claimed a source close to the Brazilian revealed Richarlison wanted to move out of the club at the end of the season.

And there were also some reports during the January transfer window which claimed that Arsenal had held talks with Richarlison’s manager, Renato Velasco but that news fizzled out quickly.
