After Manchester United signed Alexis Sanchez from Arsenal at the start of the new year, Marcus Rashford has mostly played second fiddle to the Chilean and multiple reports have claimed that the homegrown lad is all set to leave the club at the end of the season.

Now though, the forward has decided to talk[indirectly] about his future at the club.

Marcus Rashford has been used the by Jose Mourinho the maximum number of times as compared to any other United player since the Portuguese took charge of Manchester United back in 2016.

And replying to that the English International told Inside United: “I wasn’t aware of it before I saw it and it’s something to be proud of,

“But we always want more and we always want to show progression individually and as a team, so the numbers don’t really matter as much as the results do to me.”

And talking about playing for his boyhood club Manchester United, Rashford added: “A lot of people have that dream, so you’re not only doing it for you.”

“You’re doing it for a lot of people that you might not even know, but there are a lot of people who had the dream of playing for their local team when they were young.

“So I think you are playing not only for yourself and for the club, but for all the people that are living that dream through you.”

The 20-year-old has played 29 games in the Premier League this season but most of them have been substitute appearances. But he has already managed to bag 6 goals – one more than what he had for the whole of the previous season.

Marcus Rashford has been tipped to move out of the club during the summer owing to a lack of game time and a series of top Premier League clubs have reportedly lined up to get the player’s signature. But according to the bookmakers, Arsenal are the frontrunner in signing the forward – if he decides to move out.
