Manchester City were crowned the Premier League champions of the 2017-18 season thanks to Manchester United who slumped to a 1-0 defeat at the hands of West Brom on Sunday.
United managed to delay their local rivals’ title win last weekend after picking up a superb 3-2 victory at the Etihad.
But this Sunday at home to West Brom, Jose Mourinho’s men bottled once again and lost the opportunity to pick up all three points.
And after the match, life-long Red and current pundit Gary Neville decided to tweet about City’s title win.
Neville quoted a tweet which said that after winning the league, Manchester City are now just one title Sunderland and two behind Ashton Villa.

Neville has been a United fan all his life, so clearly, he was not happy to see their bitter rivals win the league at the expense of Manchester United.
Thus the former full-back decided to add something of his own to the retweet.

City fans though were clearly not happy with Gary Neville’s tweet and they decided to slam the pundit by claiming that he has been using Manchester United’s past glory to cover up his team’s recent failures.
