Arsene Wenger announced on Friday that he would be stepping down from his managerial position at the end of the season and now everyone is busy looking for his ideal replacement.

Chances are the Gunners hierarchy have already made their selection but the fans are still getting excited with every bit of news that in some ways is connected to the potential replacement of Arsene Wenger.

While fans have been fairly positive on social media but they saw someone at the Emirates on Sunday and most of the Gunners fans are now praying that this man does not take charge of their beloved club during the summer.

We are talking about former Leicester City manager Claudio Ranieri.

Ranieri was stopped at the Emirates during Arsenal’s 4-1 victory over West Ham United on Sunday.

While this might just have been a coincidence but the fans have vented out their concerns about the former Premier League winning manager taking charge of Arsenal.

And ever since this moment the fans have been making their opinions on social media.

Ranieri is currently managing FC Nantes in the Ligue 1 and the club are sitting 9th on the league table with 46 points.

Claudio Ranieri though is fairly experienced when it comes to managing in the Premier League and the Italian has managed close to 300 games in the English top division with Chelsea and Leicester City.

Not to forget Ranieri was the same manager who helped the Foxes win their fairytale Premier League title back in the 2015-16 season.
