Ever since Arsene Wenger claimed that Jack Wilshere’s future at Arsenal remains a major doubt, a series of top Premier League clubs have shown interest in signing him up at the end of the season.
The likes of Liverpool, Manchester City and Everton are all rumoured to be planning bids for the English International and if the Gunners do decide to part ways with him then Wilshere will surely have no issues finding a new club.
And if latest reports are anything to go by then, Wolverhampton Wanderers are the latest club to join the race to sign the midfielder.
According to a report in the Guardian, Wolverhampton Wanderers who have just secured promotion to the Premier League are looking to bring in reinforcements for the upcoming season and it seems that the Midlands club have Jack Wilshere in their mind.
Wilshere has endured an injury prone career at Arsenal and he has been on the brink of leaving the club many a time.
This season though the 26-year-old has managed to remain fit and has played 35 games in all competition for the Gunners.
But with the pressure building on the Arsenal hierarchy to bring in star players, it seems that Wilshere’s time at the Emirates might have come to an end.
Wolverhampton Wanderers already have Ruben Neves at their disposal and the midfielder himself is a transfer target for Liverpool.
So it is just logical for Nuno Santo to go after the Arsenal midfielder.
If Wolverhampton Wanderers do manage to retain Neves then Wilshere can play as a perfect partner to the 21-year-old and in a worst-case scenario, the Arsenal midfielder can become a replacement for Neves.
With the likes of Manchester City and Liverpool standing in the queue, it will not be easy for Wolverhampton Wanderers to land Jack Wilshere but one big thing that can play the transfer into their hands is the fact that the Midlands outfit can guarantee the midfielder regular first-team football.
Having said all that though, Wolverhampton Wanderers are surely at the end of the pecking order given the fact that Italian giants Juventus are reportedly also interested in signing up Jack Wilshere during the summer transfer window.
