3-4-3 Chelsea Predicted Line-up To Face Qarabag In Champions League: Luiz Warming The Bench Again?

Chelsea are set to face Qarabag in the Champions League group stages on Tuesday and Antonio Conte is expected to put out a very strong team.

The main reason for this being the fact unlike other English clubs, Chelsea are not currently at the top of their group and in their last game they were humbled and humiliated by AS Roma. So Conte will try and salvage some pride with a win over Qarabag and will also be aiming for that top spot in the Group.

CHELSEA PREDICTED LINE-UP:

GOALKEEPER:

Thibaut Courtois.

DEFENCE:

Antonio Conte will not shuffle around with his defensive line too much and both Antonio Rudiger and Azpilicueta will start the match. David Luiz is expected to be on the bench once again as Conte has clearly mentioned that Christensen will get the nod ahead of the Brazilian.

Rudiger – Christensen – Azpilicueta

MIDFIELD:

N’Golo Kante and Cesc Fabregas will hopefully be the midfield partnership of choice for the Italian manager with Kante playing his usual deeper role and Fabregas advancing to more forward positions. Marcos Alonso who has recently been a transfer interest for Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane is going to start as the left wing-back and Zappacosta will play as the right wing-back.

Alonso – Kante – Fabregas – Zappacosta

ATTACK:

Alvaro Morata will most certainly lead the line for Chelsea but with the Liverpool clash coming up this weekend we presume that the manager will try and bring in Michy Batshuayi at some point in time. But Conte will want to do that substitution once the match is sealed. Cause Conte clearly does not have faith in Batshuayi as he is already looking for striking alternatives.

Morata will be supported by Eden Hazard and Pedro on either flank. The selection of Pedro means that Willian will once again be on the bench thus adding more fuel to his transfer gossip.

Hazard – Morata – Pedro
