Manchester United will take on Benfica on Tuesday in the Champions League Group Stage match and Mourinho’s men will try and solidify their pole position in the group with a win over the Primeira Liga outfit.

TEAM NEWS:

Jose Mourinho will try and make very few changes to line up. The Portuguese manager will most certainly go with the same back three that starred in the victory against Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday. Both Ashley Young and Antonio Valencia are also sure enough to retain their spots in the wing-back roles after a fine outing against Spurs. In the heart of midfield Mourinho is very limited with choices and hence he will have no other option but to start with the duo of Herrera and Matic.

Upfront though the United boss will make a couple of swaps as Mkhitaryan is expected to be benched and Juan Mata will take up his place. Marcus Rashford will also be given a much-deserved rest and the weekend hero Anthony Martial will take up his place. Romelu Lukaku to start as usual.

MANCHESTER UNITED EXPECTED LINE UP:

Goalkeeper: David De Gea.

Defence: Smalling, Jones, Bailly.

Midfield: Young, Herrera, Matic, Valencia.

Attack: Martial, Lukaku, Mata.
