Manchester United were knocked out of the Carabao Cup thanks to a superb performance by Bristol City. But Jose Mourinho and his men will not have time to sulk over the embarrassing defeat as they take on Leicester City on Saturday night.

MANCHESTER UNITED TEAM NEWS:

Jose Mourinho fielded quite a strong team against Bristol in midweek but they still failed to break down the Championship side. Now the Portuguese manager is sure to make a couple of changes in the line-up against the Foxes.

Antonio Valencia suffered a hamstring injury during last weekend’s Premier League clash and is expected to miss the trip on Saturday. Ashely Young will hopefully change positions and he the right-back of choice for Jose Mourinho. Luke Shaw started the Bristol City game but hopefully, he will be warming the benches again as Marcos Rojo will play in the left-back position.

Pogba and Matic will play as the two central midfielders and Jesse Lingard will once again start a match and will hopefully play just behind Lukaku. Marcos Rashford will play down his preferred left flank while Juan Mata will be on the right flank duties.

Zlatan played during midweek against Bristol and scored his first goal since his nasty ACL injury but the big Swede will make way for Romelu Lukaku.

MANCHESTER UNITED PREDICTED LINE-UP:

Goalkeeper: David de Gea

Defence: Rojo, Smalling, Jones, Young

Midfield: Matic, Pogba, Lingard

Attack: Rashford, Lukaku, Mata
