Arsenal and Liverpool kick off the first Premier League game of the weekend as the Gunners play host to Jurgen Klopp’s men on Friday night.

Arsenal are just one point of Liverpool on the Premier League table but the Reds are undoubtedly playing some of the best-attacking football that we have seen this season. So even though this will be home game for the Gunners but we have a feeling that Wenger will set up his line up keeping Liverpool’s attacking line up in mind.

The Merseyside outfit won the reverse fixture 4-0 which was held in August and Klopp will be hoping that his team can pull out another similar result on Friday night.

ARSENAL TEAM NEWS:

Olivier Giroud is set to miss the Liverpool clash after he a hamstring injury during Arsenal’s midweek clash in the Carabao Cup. The duo of Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil will return to the starting line up after being rested in midweek.

Another major absentee for the Friday night game will be Aaron Ramsey who is also suffering from a hamstring injury meaning that there is a high chance that Jack Wilshere might start the match alongside Granit Xhaka in central midfield.

Wenger will hopefully opt for a back four as he has been doing for the past couple of games so the duo of Koscielny and Mustafi will be in central defence will Monreal and Bellerin will play in left-back and right-back respectively.

ARSENAL’S PREDICTED LINE-UP:

Goalkeeper: Petr Cech

Defence: Monreal, Koscielny, Mustafi, Bellerin

Midfield: Xhaka, Wilshere, Ozil

Attack: Sanchez, Iwobi, Lacazette
