Manchester United scraped through to a 1-0 victory over Bournemouth during midweek and Jose Mourinho’s men next take on West Bromwich Albion at the Hawthorns on Sunday.

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is under a fair bit of pressure after that embarrassing 2-1 defeat at the hands of arch-rivals Manchester City. United now stand 11 points adrift of their rivals and it seems only a miracle can get them even close to that top spot on the table.

West Brom have had a pretty decent record against Manchester United as the Baggies have managed to pick up 4 from the available 9 points during the past three Premier League meetings between the two club. The last clash between both these clubs came way back in April when Mourinho’s men were held to a goalless draw at Old Trafford.

MANCHESTER UNITED TEAM NEWS:

Manchester United will once again be without the services of Paul Pogba who will be servicing his final game of his three-match ban. Eric Bailly is also another absentee and it seems that the Ivorian might be out of contention for the rest of the season. Michael Carrick is also non-available for selection as the Englishman is still recovering from a surgery due to an irregular heart condition.

Marouane Fellaini is expected to be back in the squad after missing the past couple of games due to injury. Marcos Rojo is also expected to be back in the starting line up after missing the Bournemouth game due to a head injury.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is back after his long injury lay off due to an ACL injury but Mourinho is using him very cautiously and tactfully. So we feel that he will once again be on the substitute bench. Henrikh Mkhitaryan seems to be pushed to the shadows in the United dressing room and after the Bournemouth victory, Mourinho explained why he has not been using the Armenian captain. And we feel that the former Dortmund star will once again be given a miss for the Hawthorns game.

MANCHESTER UNITED PREDICTED LINE-UP:

Goalkeeper: David De Gea
