Alexis Sanchez has turned down a multi-million-pound offer from Hebei China Fortune because he wants to play for Manchester City – according to reports.

As per the Express, Hebei are willing to offer Alexis Sanchez £21m after tax in order for the Chilean to move to China.

However, Sanchez has immediately turned down the £400,000-a-week offer and has decided to not give it any thought simply because he wants to reunite with his ex-Barcelona manager at Manchester City.

City have been on the hunt for the Chilean throughout the summer and they had reportedly agreed on a £55 million deal with Arsenal. But that move eventually collapsed after the Gunners failed to sign Thomas Lemar during the final hours of the summer transfer window.

Sanchez’s current contract at the Emirates expires at the end of the season and with the Chilean refusing to put pen on paper to a new deal, it is more or less certain that he will move out of London during January with the blue half of Manchester always being his preferred destination. And the rejection of this mega offer from China clearly means that Sanchez is well and truly Manchester bound.
