The Football Association has decided to fine Chelsea manager Antonio Conte following the incident that led to him being sent off during the victory against Swansea City.

The Blues won the match 1-0 but their manager was sent off to the stands after he heavily protested a decision that went against his team. Even though the Italian was prompt to apologize for the incident but the FA have decided to fine him £8,000.

And while speaking to the Evening Standard, Conte was at his sarcastic best.

“My wife is angry. It is her birthday in two days and I said, for this reason, I will not buy a gift!”, Conte said

“My wife was at the game, so it was very difficult! She was there with my daughter. I tried to tell her (what happened), but no, no. It is very difficult to mask this situation!”
