Manchester United have given a contract extension to Ecuadorian Antonio Valencia. Manchester United announced the news on their Official Website on the 17th of January, 2017. The extension will keep the player with Manchester United until June 2018.
Antonio Valencia joined United from Wigan Athletic in the summer of 2009 as since them he has gone on to make 271 appearances for the club. Winning six trophies in the process. He was bought by the club to play primarily as a right winger but currently he is playing under Jose Mourinho as a right back. This gone on to show how versatile player he actually is.
Valencia also showed his happiness as he posted a picture of himself on his Instagram and Twitter accounts reconfirming the news.
