Olivier Giroud’s agent is set to be in London to hold talks with Arsenal regarding his client’s future at the club – according to reports.

Giroud has started just one Premier League game this season and Arsene Wenger clearly has preferred summer signing Alexandre Lacazette over the 31-year-old. Giroud’s playing time has been very limited and the Frenchman fears that this is going to hamper his chances of playing in Russia for the World Cup next summer.

Earlier this month he told L’Euipe that he was going to give ‘moving out of Arsenal’ a serious thought and now it seems that he has told his manager to find him a new club.

The 31-year-old was wanted by the likes of West Ham and Everton during the summer but Giroud decided to stay back at the Emirates in order to fight for his place.

We can see very well how that has gone down.

Everton still hold an interest in Giroud primarily because they have not been able to replace Romelu Lukaku who left for Manchester United during the summer and the Toffees are expected to launch a bid for the Frenchman as soon as the January transfer window opens.
