Arsenal and Chelsea are seemingly interested in signing 16-year-old San Vincente from Spanish side Osasuna.

The central defender is out of contract at his current club in January and both the English sides want to scoop him up before he officially becomes a free agent. Vincente is a highly priced youngster in the Spanish circuit and clubs like Real Madrid and Barcelona are also keeping a close eye on the player who has been termed as the next Gerard Pique.

Vincente came up through the youth ranks at Osasuna and the club wanted to bind the player to a long-term contract. But the 16-year-old rejected the offer once Osasuna were relegated from La Liga at the end of the previous season.

The buzz around the Spanish media is that a series of clubs are closely monitoring the player. Clubs like Arsenal, Chelsea, Real Madrid, Barcelona and Juventus are all reportedly interested in signing up the player. While the non-English teams want to wait a bit longer before they approach the player, Chelsea and Arsenal, on the other hand, are both willing to sign the player in the January transfer window. But having said that if one of the Spanish giants approaches the teenager then he will most likely stay in Spain.
