Alexis Sanchez has been touted to leave Arsenal in the summer and join German champions Bayern Munich.

But the Arsenal management is trying every trick in the book to keep the Chilean in London. According to Daily Mail, Arsenal are offering Alexis Sanchez a new and improved contract.

And as per the terms of the new deal, the Chilean will get 270,000 pounds per week. It is notable that the new wage is just shy of the amount that Sanchez had been demanding(300,000 pounds per week).

The new deal also includes a lot of perquisites and incentives which might easily take the amount close to what the Chilean had demanded. Though nothing has been finalized as of yet. Both the parties are likely to hold another set of meetings after Arsenal play the FA Cup final on Saturday.

Sanchez has been heavily linked to Bayern for quite a few months now. And the gossips grew even stronger when the Chilean National team announced their squad for the Confederations Cup. Sanchez was listed in the squad as a Bayern Munich player.

Chilean teammate Arturo Vidal has also gone on record to say that he had had talks with Bayern and would like to see him come over and play for them.

It looks as if Arsenal have played a master stroke in terms of the wage rates because the German club will most likely not match those rates. And if Arsenal does manage to hold on to Sanchez then it will definitely be a huge boost to their campaign next season.
