Arsenal forward Olivier Giroud has dropped a major hint that he might move out of the Emirates at the start of the new year.

The French striker has mostly played second fiddle to summer signing Alexandre Lacazette and has featured during the Europa League and Cup fixtures. But whenever he has been called upon the Frenchman has delivered. And now Giroud feels that he might be more valuable to another Premier League side.

The 31-year-old was pretty close to joining Everton during the summer but that move eventually fell through. Now multiple reports are claiming that clubs like West Ham and Crystal Palace are in contention to sign him up during the January transfer window.

Speaking about his possible move away from Arsenal, Giroud told L’Euipe, “I’ll ask myself the question again in January. That’s for sure.

“Loan could be best solution. But I don’t know if Arsenal would want that.”

Even though Giroud has been getting a fair amount of game time during the current campaign but very few of it has come in the Premier League and this is a major cause of concern for the Frenchman. If he continues to feature in the not-so-important games then Giroud could very well miss out on a spot in the French national team’s World Cup squad.
