Arsenal have endured a tough 3 weeks, as back to back losses to Stoke and Liverpool, and a weak footing in the transfer window paints a sorry picture for the Gunners.
With just one day left for the Transfer window to close, all clubs will be active in the market for finishing off some last-minute deals, some of which will be well planned, while others might be panic-buys.

For football fans, the next 24 hours will be nothing short of a roller-coaster ride.

Arsenal are in a precarious position for Sanchez and Chamberlain and will be expected to be in the market for some last-minute deals; giving their fans some respite in these troubled times.

The rumour mill has been the busiest of late and has seen Arsenal being linked with two Real Madrid players, Lucas Vasquez and Marco Asensio.
Lucas Vasquez has fallen down the pecking order at Real Madrid, now that Gareth Bale has come back into first team contention after quite some time out due to the injury layoff.
The emergence of Marco Asensio has not worked well for the Spanish international, and he might be tempted to make the move away from Santiago Bernabeu for regular first team football. Lucas Vasquez’s release clause is in the region of £30-40 million, but he could be sold for much less.
Should Arsenal complete this deal, they could have a potential winger and forward sandwiched in one as Vasquez is adept in both positions.

In what might seem a battle against the odds, Arsenal have also shown considerable interest in Marco Asensio. The likelihood of that deal going through, however, is next to impossible. Asensio has established his position in the team and is an integral player in Zidane’s plans this season.
It has also been rumoured that Madrid are looking to tie the mercurial forward to a lucrative deal that might see his valuation rise to a humongous £600 million.

Thomas Lemar has been linked with a move to the Gunners for most of the transfer window, but it has emerged that the Frenchman would prefer a move to Manchester United.

As far as exits go, Oxlade Chamberlain is subject to a transfer tussle between Liverpool and Chelsea. The player seems to be keener on a move to Anfield. But given Arsenal and Liverpool’s bittersweet history of the Luis Suarez transfer saga, it is highly doubtful they would indulge in any transfer business with Liverpool.

Gibbs and Mustafi’s Arsenal careers may draw to a close as Gibbs is nearing a move to Watford; and Mustafi, agreeing on a deal in principle with Inter Milan.

Rest assured, we’re in for an exciting 24 hours of transfer news and gossips!
