According to a report in the Diario Gol, Arsenal are looking at Real Madrid want-away star Keylor Navas as a long-term replacement for Petr Cech.

As per the news, Navas is unhappy with life at the Bernabeu and wants to move out of the club. The Costa Rican No 1 has failed to emulate the heroics of Iker Casillas and has asked his agent to listen to offers from other clubs.

A few days ago we had reported that Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp also wants to sign Navas next summer and now Wenger too has joined that race. Wenger’s first choice keeper Petr Cech is currently 35 and his reflexes are quickly diminishing. Hence Wenger wants to sign a proper replacement to the former Chelsea star.

Navas was pretty close to joining Manchester United a couple of seasons ago but that move eventually fell out during the final few minutes of the transfer deadline day. Now it seems as if Navas is once again on the brink of moving to England.

But the big question is, will it be Arsenal or Liverpool?
