Barcelona boss Ernesto Valverde is not impressed with Luis Suarez’s performance in the current campaign and news has it that he is planning to offload the former Liverpool man.

According to Spanish outlet Don Balon, Barcelona are looking at either Harry Kane or Gabriel Jesus as possible replacements the Uruguayan.

Harry Kane who is already a subject of interest from Real Madrid seems to have caught the attention of Barcelona as well. Spurs are currently 5th in the league table with 24 points – 13 points behind leaders Manchester City. And we can safely say that their title challenge might very well be over in November itself. So if the Lilywhites fail to win any silverware this season then Kane might give moving out of London a very serious thought.

On the other hand, Don Balon claim that Gabriel Jesus is not entirely happy under Pep Guardiola and Barcelona want to use this situation to their advantage. Jesus has managed to score 8 goals in 12 first flight appearances for the Citizens but he is yet to solidify his spot in the first eleven.

Suarez is 31 years old and if his performances this season are anything to go by then it seems as if age has finally caught up with him. So Barcelona feel that the time is just right to offload him and bring him a fresh pair of legs during the summer transfer window.
