Belgium and PSG right-back Thomas Meunier has claimed that Chelsea goalkeeper and international team-mate Thibaut Courtois will be a perfect fit at PSG.
The Belgium number 1 has established himself as one of the best keepers in European football and has managed to play over 100 games during his four-year association with Chelsea. And the rumours of PSG having been interested in the player are growing stronger and stronger. Now to add more fuel to the fire Meunier has come out to say that he would love to see his international team-mate at PSG as he will be an instant hit with the club.
While speaking to Le Parisien, Meunier said, “He’s very strong, Courtois. He wouldn’t be bad at PSG,
“We’ve already got two good goalkeepers but Thibaut also has the profile [to play here], I think. He’s very big – nearly two metres tall!”
Is this just another brick on PSG’s road to Courtois or is it a genuine appreciation of the goalkeeper’s talents.
