  1. Eric Bailly:

Eric is known for his dribbling, interception and strong tackling. His performance in first two matches has gained the confidence of the coach.  He got 6 clearances with 2 key interceptions.  United’s struggling defence line has finally have the breathing space with the addition of Eric Bailey.  Bailey also has a good passing success of 87.1 which again complements his clearing and distribution abilities from the back.  His excellent performance in the opening two games with the Red Devils have helped to bag 6 points and Bailey a spot in the top 5 players of the week.

  1. Marcos Alonso:

Marcos is turning out to be a relentless passer with average 33 passes per game. This 26-year-old has displayed his strength as a right winger and an excellent dead ball specialist from direct free kicks. In his two opening matches, he recorded an 80.3 percent passing success.  The man from Spain showed his class against Tottenham when his team was looking for a win.  Alonso smashed in two goals at Wembley and probably saved  Michy Batshuayi from getting a fair amount of stick.

  1. Henrikh Mkhitaryan:

This 28-year-old from Dortmund has already managed 4 assists in just 2 opening games.  Though he was shaky in his opening season with the Red Devils last year, he is finding his form and his passing ability. With clinical finishers like Romelu Lukaku, Rashford in front of him Mkhitaryan is the man needed for creating the chances with his passing ability.  Mourinho seems to have been able to bring out the ‘pass master’ from the Armenian midfielder.

  1. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlin:

An industrious player for the right flank Chamberlain has already made his mark in the first two games. The player already has an impressive 4.5 shots per game with 2.5 key passes per game.  He is good with the ball and has almost 7.5 dribbles per match.  Out of the two matches, Chamberlain was the man who took the light for the Gunners.

  1. Chicharito:

Javier Hernandez is just the striker that any manager would like to spearhead his attack.  He scored two goals in two games with 2.5 shots per game. Known for his clinical finishing capability, he managed to find the net twice in his second game. West Ham have made an excellent addition to their team by bringing him back to EPL from Leverkusen.  He bagged the man of the match against Southampton after scoring a brace and helped his team to score 2 goals while being a man down for most of the match. Though he fumbled in the opening match against Manchester United, he found his rhythm in the next match. A splendid display of “being in the right place at the right time” is what he showed against Southampton.
