The Chelsea fans might just be able to see Alvaro Morata back in action against Crystal Palace as the Spaniard is racing against time in order to make himself fit for the Premier League clash.

Alvaro Morata suffered the injury during the clash against Manchester City and was forced off the pitch in the 35th minute. At first, it looked like a minor injury and Morata was expected to return back by the match against Crystal Palace. But then he unexpectedly withdrew from the Spain training camp upon discovering that he had a grade II ligament tear.

This meant that Morata would be out of action for a time of 6 to 8 weeks. Now though the Spanish International has posted a video on Instagram where he is seen training hard in order to make himself fit for the game against the Eagles next week.

The efforts from Morata are sure to please the Chelsea boss as well as the fans. Antonio Conte is desperately short on the attacking front as the Blues have Michy Batsuayi as the only other recognized striker. But if Morata can make himself fit and available then Chelsea will avoid losing any more ground on the league leaders.
