Juventus left-back Alex Sandro has made it clear to his Serie A employers that he wants to move out of Italy at the start of the new year and Chelsea seems to be his preferred destination.

Chelsea have been long time suitors of the Brazilian but the Premier League club were priced out during the summer transfer window. Now it seems that the Blues are once again back in contention to sign Sandro during the January transfer window.

According to the Sun, Alex Sandro has chosen to move to Chelsea over Manchester United. Jose Mourinho was said to be interested in the Brazilian as the manager is looking to solve his left-back problem but now it seems that Chelsea have trumped the Old Trafford outfit.

If Alex Sandro joins Chelsea then United will hopefully move for Tottenham outcast Danny Rose.

Rose has already been linked with the Red Devils and if Jose fails to get Sandro then surely the English International will be seen wearing the red of Manchester United in the new year.
