According to the latest reports, Chelsea are still in talks with Leicester City over the transfer of midfielder Danny Drinkwater.

News around England is that Chelsea had made a bid of £25 million for Drinkwater but the Foxes swiftly turned it down claiming that the English International is worth £40 million in today’s market. And this is something that Chelsea are finding hard to digest.

Chelsea are still out in the market looking for a replacement to Nemanja Matic and their boss feels that Danny Drinkwater is the closest that they will get.

The report also claims that Leicester City are deliberately stalling the transfer talks because they themselves are out in the market trying to find a replacement for Danny Drinkwater because they know very well that the midfielder has his heart set on a move to Chelsea.
