According to the Nigerian Football Federation, Victor Moses has helped them convince Tammy Abraham to snub England and play for Nigeria.

Tammy Abraham, 19, currently plays for England’s U-21 team but the Nigerian football federation is trying to convince the player to join the Eagles. Abraham’s dream is to play for the English national team one day but that is something far beyond the horizon especially with so many good strikers at Gareth Southgate’s disposal right now.

The NFF has revealed that he held a meeting with the on-loan Swansea forward and Victor Moses had actually called in during the meeting in order to convince the player to shift loyalties.

Abraham is currently on loan to the Swans from Chelsea and his contract with his parent club runs until 2022. But the 19-year-old has spent the past two years out on loan to clubs like Bristol City and now Swansea.
