While Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is out in the market looking for another striker, many might have forgotten but they still have Frenchman Loic Remy amongst their ranks.

The forgotten Chelsea striker joined the club back in 2014 but since then his career graph has been sliding down with each passing season. The 30-year-old has made only 47 appearances for the Blues in his three-year association with the club – the last one coming way back in April 2016. He was loaned out to Crystal Palace last season but an injury hampered the first half of his campaign and he eventually went on to make only 8 starts for Palace during the 2016-17 season.

Even though Remy was a part of Chelsea’s pre season squad this summer but he has been promptly sidelined from the action ever since the new season has kicked off.

And now reports are suggesting that a string of European clubs have shown interest in signing him up.

Spanish club Las Palmas and Italian side Cagliari are both said to be admirers of the French International and want to bring him on board. Not to mention a few Premier League clubs like Newcastle United, Stoke and West Brom also want to sign up the player.

The former Marseille man has already represented the Magpies back in 2103-14 when he was loaned out to Newcastle by QPR.
