A few days back we reported how Chelsea might have to break the bank if they wish to sign Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly next summer. And now the player’s agent Bruno Satin has said that a move to Barcelona is not likely on the cards because the Catalans do not have that much of money to spend on him.

Satin also added that Real Madrid are interested in the player but the Barca deal is nothing more than just a rumour. While speaking to Radio Crc, Satin said, “I am confident in Madrid’s interest in him, not Barcelona’s. I do not think Barca have the money to buy Koulibaly. Newspaper’s in Barcelona link him, but I would not give heed to that news.”

Chelsea had shown heavy interest in the player during the summer but 26-year-old refused a move to England because he wanted to stay with Napoli and win the Serie A. But as per the latest news it seems as if the defender will be available in the market if a club is willing to pay a transfer fee which is in the region of £70 million.

Now, will the Blues management be willing to spend that much amount of money on a defender?
