Chelsea are most probably going to miss out on yet another summer transfer target as the Evening Standard claims that PSG right-back Serge Aurier is going to join Tottenham Hotspur in the coming few days.

It is being said that Spurs and PSG have agreed on a £23 million deal for the Ivorian International. And the North London outfit will move forward with the deal once the appeal for his ban from the UK moves in the right direction. The 24-year-old is currently prohibited from entering the United Kingdom on grounds of assaulting a police officer in Paris last September. This was the reason why Aurier missed PSG’s Champions League clash against Arsenal last season.

If Spurs manage to finalise the deal then Chelsea will miss out on yet another player. Antonio Conte wanted to sign Aurier desperately in order to provide a back-up as well as competition to current right-back Victor Moses.

Pochettino, on the other hand, has moved on to finalise quite a few deals during the final weeks of the transfer window after hibernating for most of the summer. Spurs have also agreed to sign Davinson Sanchez from Ajax for a fee of around £42 million. The club released an official statement where they announced that they had reached an agreement with the 21-year-old Colombian.
