Chelsea legend Frank Lampard has said that there is nothing to worry about Eden Hazard and his future at Stamford Bridge.
Real Madrid are in hot pursuit of the Belgian playmaker and several reports are claiming that the La Liga giants will make a move for him as soon as the current season comes to an end. And Hazard’s recent statement that he would love to play for Real Madrid has just added more fuel to the fire.
Hazard has been in terrific form this season and Frank Lampard believes that he will not go anywhere.
While talking to BT Sport, Lampard said, “If you are Eden Hazard or any top player in the world, the talk of Real Madrid and Barcelona will always hang over you whether it’s spoken about out loud in the newspaper or whether it is just a fact they go after the best players in the world.
“Eden Hazard is one of those so I don’t think it’s going to be any problem. He’s very aware that probably for the last two or three seasons that these big teams would like to take him from Chelsea.
“He doesn’t change anything as long as he performs week in week out. And he certainly has in recent weeks, then nothing changes as far as I’m concerned.”
Even though Frank Lampard is claiming that the Belgian will stay in West London but somehow we just cannot believe his theory. Real Madrid are having a really bad season and Florentino Perez is already thinking of bringing in a new bunch of players for the next campaign so that the Los Blancos can challenge Barcelona for the title once again.
