Mohamed Salah returned to the Premier League this season with Liverpool after a successful season with Roma and now if reports are to believed then Chelsea are already planning to sign him up at the end of the season.

It was Chelsea who had sold Salah to Roma in 2016 and it seems that the Blues want to re-sign him. The Egyptian has taken the English League by storm – scoring 17 goals in 21 matches across all competitions for Liverpool and he has now before the most integral part of Jurgen Klopp’s search for glory.

It seems as if this rich vein of form, has attracted a lot of suitors and as per BetStars(vis the Express) Real Madrid have shown a strong interest in the player. While BetStars believe that the Los Blancos remain the favourites in signing the player but a possible return to Chelsea cannot be ruled out as well.

BetStars Director of Trading Ian Marmion said: “Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah has set the Premier League alight this season, netting 12 league goals in his debut season for the Reds, and is currently the league’s top goalscorer ahead of Harry Kane and Sergio Aguero.

“It appears that Jurgen Klopp will have a fight on his hands to keep hold of his star man in January as the Egyptian’s goal-scoring prowess has sparked the interest of some of Europe’s biggest clubs.

“According to Egypt manager Hector Cuper, Spanish giants Real Madrid are already lining up a move for the Liverpool talisman.

“The Galacticos are the 9/4 favourites to add the Egypt international to their out-of-form squad, while their La Liga rivals Barcelona are priced at 5/1 to launch another bid for one of Liverpool’s star players.

“Meanwhile, Chelsea are the outsiders at 14/1 to re-sign their former player.”
