Chelsea’s visit to Goodison Park ended in a 0-0 stalemate as the hosts stubbornly held back Antonio Conte’s side.

Chelsea dominated the match with a whole lot of possession but unfortunately, Eden Hazard and Co were unable to convert the chances into goals. Everton though could have snatched all three points but Michael Keane put his header wide during the final minutes of the game.

Here are the Chelsea players’ ratings:

Courtois: 6.5/10

Did not have a save to make throughout the course of the game.

Azpilicueta: 7/10

Was strong and composed in defence and made a couple of good interceptions.

Christensen: 8.5/10

Another superb performance from the Dane. No wonder Chelsea are offering him a new contract.

Rudiger: 4/10

Easily one of his poorest games since signing for the Blues. Made a series of errors and was guilty of losing possession on numerous occasions.

Moses: 6.5/10

Found himself in some good positions in the wide areas but the final delivery was poor all throughout.

Kante: 8/10

A typical Kante performance in midfield.

Bakayoko: 7.5/10

Made some fine surging runs and had one shot saved off the line. His performances are getting better with each passing game.

Marcos Alonso: 7/10

Like Bakayoko one of his shots was also saved off the line. Was a constant threat in attack.

Pedro: 6.5/10

Was a failure in the first 45 but significantly improved during the second half. But was still unable to make any sort of big impact.

Willian: 6.5/10

Was all tricks and flicks with no end product.

Hazard: 8/10

Came close to giving Chelsea the lead early on in the second half and was easily the best player on the pitch for the Blues.

SUBSTITUTES:

Fabregas: 7/10

Added the much-needed flair and creativity after coming on in the second half.

Zappacosta: N/A

Batshuayi: N/A
