It is being reported, that the Chelsea board have run out of patience with their current manager Antonio Conte and are willing to sack the Italian and bring in a new replacement.

An alleged rift has been created between Conte and the Blues board after the latter were unable to bring in adequate reinforcements before the start of the new season. And to add to that, Chelsea have also sold some of their vital players to direct rivals. This not-so wonderful transfer window has impacted heavily on Chelsea’s new season where they suffered a humiliating defeat at the hands of Burnley on the opening day of the new season straight after losing the Community Shield game to Arsenal.

This has prompted Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich to look for other managerial options and he might just have found one in the form of Borussia Dortmund’s ex-manager Thomas Tuchel. The 43-year-old was at the helm of Dortmund from 2015 up until 2017. But he is currently without a club and according to a German outfit, he is the one likely to replace Antonio Conte in the Stamford Bridge dugout.

Tuchel is very good in working with young players and that is why Chelsea has been drawn to him. As per the report, Chelsea are also considering Barcelona’s ex-boss Luis Enqirue for the managerial role. But the Spaniard lack of English speaking abilities might come as a big road block – pushing Tuchel into pole position.
