Juventus have signed Colombian winger Juan Cuadrado from Chelsea for a fee of 20 million Euros.

Cuadrado has been on loan to Juventus for two seasons now and after the end of the loan period Juve have decided to make the deal permanent. Cuadrado arrived at Stamford Bridge with a lot of high hopes and dreams but it looks as if Italy is going to be his permanent home. Mourinho signed Cuadrado from Udinese from a fee of around 24 million. But unluckily the Colombian failed to make any sort of impact at the club. Having made only a handful of first team appearances for the club during the whole season.

Cuadrado made only 14 appearances during his first season at Chelsea.

And eventually the winger was loaned off to Juventus in 2015. The 29-year-old has now spent 2 seasons with the Torino outfit and is now well and truly a part of the club. He has managed to make 85 appearances for Juve in all competitions and has also scored 8 goals.

Massimiliano Allegri thinks Cuadrado is a rather important part of his attacking structure. And he has shown faith in the winger by making the loan deal permanent. And to be very honest, no one expected Cuadrado to return back to Chelsea. Once his loan deal ended he was always going to look for other options. Because it would have been nearly impossible for him to break into the recent squad that Antonio Conte has managed to create.
