Chelsea are said to be preparing a stunning €60 million bid for Atletico Madrid star Koke during the January transfer window.

The Spanish midfielder has been a long-term target for Barcelona but he has rejected contact from multiple clubs as he wishes to stay with Atletico until the end of the season. But Chelsea feel that a €60 million bid – which is the asking price for the player will be enough to lure the La Liga outfit to sell him off.

Barcelona’s interest in Koke has been growing with each season and Atletico Madrid are well aware of this situation. And hence we feel that Diego Simeone will want to hold onto the 25-year-old until the end of the season so that the club can get a good deal out of him.

Along with Barcelona and Chelsea, Bayern Munich are also said to be interested in the midfielder but multiple reports in Spain are claiming that Chelsea are the frontrunners in the deal as Antonio Conte has decided to go all out for the player. Conte currently has only one creative midfielder in his team – Cesc Fabregas and he clearly feels that Koke will be a perfect alternative to his fellow Spaniard.
