Chelsea have been informed by Juventus that they can buy Alex Sandro for a price of just £50 million – according to reports.

Juventus had quoted a price of about £70 million when Chelsea came calling for Sandro during the summer but now it seems that the Old Lady are willing to reduce that price tag.

Juventus wished that Sandro would end the current season in Italy after which they were ready to hear bids for the Brazilian. But the left-back seems to have put his foot down and wants to move out of the club in January itself.

Premier League clubs like Manchester United and Chelsea have both shown an interest in Sandro but Juventus know very well that if they were to quote £70 million not too many clubs will be interested in signing him up. Now through their revised price tag of £50 million is sure to attract a long of buyers during the January transfer window.

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho wants to sign a quality left-back and Spurs’ outcast Danny Rose was supposed to be their primary target but now with Sandro coming in the same price bracket as Rose, United are sure to give a tough competition to Chelsea in the signing of the Brazilian.

Antonio Conte has reportedly been given the go-ahead by the Chelsea board to sign a couple of players during the January transfer window and with a £50 million price tag, the Blues are sure to go after Sandro.
