Chelsea travel to the King Power Stadium to face Leicester City when the Premier League returns to action this week.

Chelsea finally have their whole squad to pick from after Eden Hazard and Pedro recovered from injuries and they added new players Davide Zappacosta from Torino and Danny Drinkwater from Leicester on deadline day. Apart from Gary Cahill who will be serving his final game from suspension, Conte has quite a few options to pick from.

Here is Chelsea’ predicted line up vs Leicester City:

Goalkeeper:

Thibaut Courtois

The Belgian goalkeeper is Chelsea’s unrivalled first choice here and will be ready for whatever Leicester launches at him.

Defence:

Cesar Azpilicueta(RCB)

Chelsea’s stand-in captain in the absence of Cahill has been immense over the last two games and he will hope to maintain his 100% record as Chelsea captain when the Blues face Leicester.

David Luiz(CB)

The defender has been a shadow of the player he was when he left Chelsea. Although he occasionally still makes mistakes, he is growing more and more as time progresses.

Antonio Rudiger(LCB)

The German has dovetailed well with the other two centre backs. Fans are already calling out to keep him in the side even after Gary Cahill returns. Thanks to two responsible performances against the likes of Tottenham and Everton.

Midfield:

Victor Moses(RWB)

The Nigerian wingback scored for his country and is coming into form just at the right time for himself. Chelsea have signed Zappacosta from Torino and it is about time Moses starts putting better performances or he might lose his spot to the Italian.

Cesc Fabregas(CM)

The Spaniard scored an absolute beauty last week and his comeback to the team after the suspension has given Chelsea another edge in midfield. His creativity is second to none and Morata will be licking his lips at the prospect of linking up with him.

N’Golo Kante(CM)

Kante returns to the stadium where he first made everyone learn his name again. He is adding more attributes like passing and dribbling to his already special game.

Marcos Alonso(LWB)

The former Sunderland defender will be buoyed by the fact that he is most likely to remain first choice LWB as Chelsea missed out on pursuing targets in that position. Will look to continue his bright start to the season.

Attack:

Pedro(RW)

The Spanish winger has well and truly put his injury behind him and with Willian consistently impressing for both club and country, Pedro will like to make some more telling contributions for the Blues.

Alvaro Morata(CF)

Chelsea’s new signing has started with a bang, scoring twice and assisting a further two all with his head! The former Real Madrid and Juventus forward will only hope he can continue on this exciting run of form.

Eden Hazard(LW)

Chelsea’s best player has returned from injury earlier than expected and also scored for Belgium against Gibraltar. Hazard will be looking to be quick off the blocks as Chelsea look to defend their title.

They will line up in a familiar looking 3-4-3 and expect them to be a force to reckon with once again this season.
