Chelsea striker Diego Costa has revealed that Antonio Conte does not want him in the next season.

According to Diego Costa, the manager has sent him a text message stating that he does not feature in his plans anymore. Costa has said that his relationship with the manager has been bad this season. Previously there were reports that Costa had a dispute with the physical trainer of the team. And owing to that there were rumours that the Spaniard was going to leave the club during the January transfer window.

There were reports that he could go to the Chinese League in a big money move. But somehow the news fizzled out quickly as Chelsea then had no intentions of selling him.

Costa has scored 20 goals in 35 Premier League appearances this season.

But now Costa’s claimed has turned everything on its head. He has said that he has already forwarded the message to the Chelsea management. And this means that he will surely leave Stamford Bridge in the summer.

“I am a Chelsea player, but they do not want me here,” Costa said after Spain’s 2-2 draw with Colombia.

“Antonio Conte has told me by message that I do not follow at Chelsea and that’s it. Conte said he did not count me for next season.”

Now the big question is, where will Diego Costa land up next season?

A move to the Chinese League could be back on the table once again. But we feel that it would be a bit tougher now as compared to the rumours in January. Because the Chinese League now allows teams to field only three foreign players instead of four.

Atletico Madrid could also be another possible destination for the Spaniard. Costa had played for Atletico for four seasons before joining Chelsea. But that too is not a realistic possibility now due to the transfer embargo on Atletico Madrid up until January of next year.
