Chelsea outcast Diego Costa has now gone on to accuse the Blues of pricing him out of a move back to his former club Atletico Madrid.

Diego Costa has been training alone in Brazil after the player refused to return back to Chelsea and now in an interview to ESPN Brazil the Spaniard has claimed that Chelsea have been asking too high a price for him, as a result of which it is becoming difficult for him to go back to Spain and join Atleti.

This comes after Costa had made it clear that he wanted to go back to the Spanish side next season and if that was not possible then he was willing to wait out his remaining two years of his contract at Chelsea without being paid.

Costa said, “What I know is that this offer Chelsea will get is bigger than what they paid,

“My agent said that Chelsea want something that Atletico can’t get near. Atletico is a team growing every year, a big team, but they can’t pay an extraordinary amount.”

“I think they (Chelsea) should take into account everything that I’ve done. It’s not my fault that I’m not at the club. If it was down to me I’d be playing. It’s already been one month. Holidays are good but it gets tiresome.”

And when the Chelsea boss was asked to comment on Costa’s remarks during the club’s pre-match conference, Conte ridiculed the whole situation and laughed it away.

The Italian said, “I can tell you everyone at Chelsea knows what happened with him last season. It’s funny, this interview,

“I’m not interested to continue this issue. For me, is the past.”
