“Chelsea star Eden Hazard is going to Real Madrid in the summer.” This is a news that has popped up every now and then throughout the season. But as the season is coming to a close, the gossip is catching wind. And that too at a very rapid speed.
And now Chelsea boss, Antonio Conte has come out to make a statement. According to the manager, Chelsea will make every bit of effort to keep the Belgian at Stamford Bridge. But he has also added that it is totally up to Hazard if he wants to stay.
If reports are to be believed then Real Madrid are preparing a bid that can easily cross 100 million pounds. Conte insists that Hazard is happy at Chelsea and will not wish to leave during the summer. But on the other hand, he also added that anything is possible in this footballing world.
Real Madrid have reportedly been chasing Hazard from the time he has upped his game in the current season. And going by their past records, Real Madrid in some way or the other always end up getting their man.
Now with the title virtually in their bag, it is time for Antonio Conte to look into these matters and resolve them at the earliest. If they do manage to loose Eden Hazard then it will definitely be a big blow to the Chelsea squad.
