The Fenway Sports Group(Liverpool‘s owner) will certainly be loving the fact that they did not let Philippe Coutinho leave for Barcelona this summer. Both Barcelona, as well as the player, wanted the move to happen but Liverpool kept on resisting it to a point that the transfer broke down during the final week of the transfer window.

But almost everyone in the European football scene knows that Barcelona’s interest in the player has not died down and the Catalans will hopefully return next summer for the Brazilian playmaker. Now though, according to a report, Ligue 1 giants PSG have also started showing an interest in the player. PSG signed Neymar and Kylian Mbappe for crazy amounts of money this summer and by the looks of it, the Qatari owned outfit have no intentions of stopping just yet.

PSG coach Unai Emery is eager to add Philippe Coutinho to his starting line up because the manager feels that the Brazilian is the final piece of the dream trio that he wants to build at the club.

Barcelona have a long-standing interest in the player and their last offer of the summer was somewhere in the region of £120 million but now the report suggests that PSG will go to Liverpool will an offer of £150 million. While Barcelona will definitely not give in without a fight but Liverpool, on the other hand, will be loving this proposition.
