Everton have been one of the more busier clubs in the transfer market this season as they have made as many as seven signings. But Toffees boss Ronald Koeman is not done yet. It is being reported that Koeman still wants to add three more players to the squad before the next season kicks off.

And by the looks of it, one of them is going to be Arsenal’s Olivier Giroud. Giroud understands that the arrival of Alexandre Lacazette has done no favours to his Gooners career and hence the Frenchman is willing to move out of the Emirates in order to keep playing regular football. At first, it was being reported that Giroud could move back to France as a few Ligue 1 clubs had shown interest in signing him up. But all those rumours have pretty much died down and Everton are now the front runners to sign the player.

Arsenal have demanded a fee somewhere in the region of £25 million which the Toffees are willing to pay without any fuss. But the big problem lies in the fact that Giroud himself has not given any positive indication of whether he is willing to shift loyalties. So it is being reported that Ronald Koeman will be demanding an answer from the French International if he is really interested in joining the Merseyside team.

Everton have already signed Wayne Rooney from Manchester United on a free transfer and it is likely that the boyhood Evertonian will be playing as a striker in the team. But Koeman clearly feels that he needs to add more fire power to his squad if his team wishes to compete with the so-called top six teams in the Premier League.

Everton are also expected to sign Gylfi Sigurdsson from Swansea City in the coming few days.
