Fabinho has come out and said that he is tempted by the prospect of joining Manchester United.
In the past few days, reports from Italy suggested that Man Utd have agreed upon an initial deal to sign Fabinho from AS Monaco. The reports also claimed that the initial deal was somewhere in the region of €35 million.
And now within hours of the rumours arising, Fabinho has gone on record to state that it would be tempting if an offer came from Jose Mourinho and Manchester United. He also said that he would first discuss the possible move with the manager and also with his current club. But having said all that he claimed that Man Utd are a great club and he will give some serious thoughts about the move.
Man Utd and Jose Mourinho are currently out in the market in search of a defensive midfielder. And Fabinho fits that brief perfectly. He has had a wonderful season with AS Monaco and a move to United will be a step forward for the 23-year-old Brazilian.
Supposedly United are also in pursuit of Chelsea’s Nemanja Matic as the Blues look to offload the player this summer.
But Mourinho will hopefully make Fabinho the priority over Matic. If the deal does go through then it will be one the most important signings that Mourinho would have made during his time at Manchester United.
