Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher are currently one of the best pundits in the whole of Europe. And these two footballing legends rolled back the years as they indulged in a game of insult penalties.

Sky Sports organised a game of insult penalties where one person had to slot home a penalty while the other would be hurling abuses at him.

Jamie Carragher stepped up to take the first spot kick and just when he was about to take his shot Neville shouted “Tax Dodger” and Carragher burst into laughter. But somehow he managed to put the ball into the back of the net.

It was now Gary Neville’s turn to suffer abuses as he was greeted by, “Here he is, the man who’s gonna ruin the skyline of Manchester with those new flats.

“He’s sacked his architect because he thinks he can do a better job.”

But like Carragher, Neville also kept his cool.

The tables turned once again and this time Carragher was met with, “One of us invests in our city, one of us extracts from our own city.”

But still none of them had missed a penalty and the score was level. And then Carragher decided to come up with what was hands down the insult of the night.

He shouted, “Who’s the ugliest brother?”

And to everyone’s surprise, Gary Neville burst into a laughter and missed his spot kick.
