Liverpool have signed Virgil Van Dijk for £75 million making him the most expensive defender in football history. Van Dijk will be handed the No 4 shirt in the squad and the deal will be completed on January 1st – as soon as the transfer market reopens.
The Reds paying such a huge amount for a defender has certainly raised a lot of eyebrows and one Liverpool fan from Norway decided to ask former Liverpool defender and current pundit Jamie Carragher if he thought that Van Dijk was is a better defender than he was.

And in an answer to this question, Carragher decided to a bit sarcastic and tweeted back saying:
