In the latest breaking news, Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has been accused of tax fraud by Madrid prosecutors.
The Portuguese has been accused of evading €3.3 million in taxes between 2011 and 2012. During that point of time, Jose Mourinho was in charge of Real Madrid.
Mourinho took charge of Real Madrid in 2010 and stayed with the club for 3 seasons. Leaving in 2013 to return back to Chelsea and then eventually joining Manchester United.
Mourinho is the second big name that has been accused of such a charge in the last month. The other one being that of Cristiano Ronaldo. Ronaldo has been accused by Madrid courts of evading taxes generated from image rights.
Ronaldo has accused of creating shell companies in the British Virgin Islands in order to channel funds through there. And he is due to appear for a hearing infront of the court next month.
But unlike Ronaldo, Jose Mourinho has yet to speak out about the accusation.
